Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WattMate (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

WattMate is an electric vehicle (EV) charging tracker application that allows users to log charging sessions, monitor battery health, track costs, and analyze energy consumption. The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”

3. User Accounts

• You must create an account to use the App's full features
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Free and Premium Tiers

4.1 Free Tier

The Free tier includes access to all core features with limitations:

• 1 vehicle
• 15 charging sessions
• All analytics and statistics features

4.2 Premium Tier

The Premium tier is available through subscription and includes:

• Unlimited vehicles
• Unlimited charging sessions
• Priority support

Premium subscriptions are available through in-app purchases on supported platforms. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region and platform.

5. Subscription Terms

• Payment is charged to your account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions from your account settings after purchase.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
• Prices may change with reasonable notice.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Provide accurate information when logging charging sessions
• Not attempt to circumvent any security features of the App
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App to transmit harmful code or interfere with its operation
• Not use automated systems to access the App without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by WattMate / Zorvalth and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of calculations
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with your device or operating system

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WATTMATE AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WattMate, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or via email.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Bulgaria.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
